fibre reinforced part casting

There are several areas I am interested in where the ability to make
smallish cast parts that are reinforced with either carbon or glass
fibres would be beneficial, the ability to produce many identical
parts with good mechanical stability is the main criteria.
I'd be grateful for any leads on this subject, good books, papers,
website etc or just good advice.
The applications I have in mind are rod ends for kinematic machines
and also digitizing arms, the arms themselves would be carbon fibre
tubing.
