Seig Mini-Mill ? ballscrews ?

Hi all,
I have a mini-mill, and the ball screw is down the front. I have seen
the version where the nut is held in place and spun, and the screw
traverses up and down past the nut.
I was thinking about putting the screw behind the machine. Has anyone
already done that ?
