Hi, I would like to know what program you folks would recommend I
could use to excersise a single axis using a PC. I will be using a
24" travel linear slide with a 1" pitch leadscrew mated to a 250W
servomotor. I need it for test and data gathering purposes on the
upcoming G320 and pulse multiplier.
It needs to be simple (VERY simple for me; I've never used one)
It needs to run on a PC, output to parallel port.
Easy and quick entry of acceleration rate and distance
Wide range for the above
Looping
Home routine nice but not necessary
Limit switches nice but not necessary
Multiple axis nice but not necessary
Jogging nice but not necessary
Basically I will be running the motor back and forth between two
programmable points at various rates of acceleration. I will be
measuring accuracy, inertial / frictional load transient response and
other stuff.
I would appreciate info on which program would do the above and where
I can purchase it. Also what the computer would need (DOS 6.2, WIN
xx, etc.) to use it. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
