To boot from the CD it takes 256 MB of memory. After it is installed on the
hard drive, it will run fine on 128 MB. I swapped some memory over from
another
machine to get a 128 MB machine set up, then I was able to put it back.
I think a
600 MHz Pentium or equivalent ir recommended. Also, a VGA with at least
4 MB
seems to be needed. Ubuntu and some other recent systems don't get
along well
with some on-board video setups.
