The earliest post I have is dated Feb. 21, 2000; "Interface for CNCPro, etc."
Next I found "Optocoulped Parallel Port" [sic], "Interface Update",
and finally "Wonderboard" - its first appearance dated Feb 24, 2000.

There's probably more relevant stuff; lots of related ideas
and comments showed up in that time frame.
