In order to get the gantry to return I was intending to reverse the
direction of the paper feed motor and encoder and print a blank page.
If I just reverse the motor connections with relays I'm likely to blow
something up, other than hoping for a point where motor voltage is
zero is there a way to avoid damaging the drives, for example by using
some zenners to cap the back emf?
I'd like to avoid having to add a second bridge if possible.
