A cheap laser pointer, might be of value in aiming your vehicle in the
correct direction at the start.
On a surface like hardwood or linoleum, and slippage anywhere along the
path, will tend to steer your vehicle from its intended course, especially if on
one side, a little would result in quite an error??? And I would think that
going from a stop to full speed, with out a slow acceleration could easily
result in slippage. I would suggest front wheel drive, with the rear wheels
giving travel distances so the controller could check to see if each wheel
traveled the same distance, and if not correct for it???
