MSC (1-800-645-7270) has lots of choices. I happen to use acu-rite;are a little spendy...but offer a glass scale with resolution
at 4x quadurature of 0.0005, 0.00025, 0.0001 and 0.00005 inches. According to a Boeing engineer one picks a resolution that is 5X
better than the control one needs. i.e. if you want to control to 0.001" then pick a scale with 0.0002 resolution. Best of luck.
