New guy on the block saying hello

hey everybody!
I am not new to milling, but I dont even pretend to know everything
either. I bought a second hand home made mill made out of MDF a while
back and have really enjoyed making a few guitar related pieces with
it. That mill is too small for milling guitar necks and fingerboards,
so I am in the process of upsizing the mill. I have the new mill table
built and tried to use the allthread for the ballscrews as the old one
was, but I keep getting some hesitation and skipping of steps. I just
purtchased ACME screws for all 3 axis and hopefully this will solve my
problems with skipping steps.

My questions come about the stepper motors I am using. They are SANYO
DENKI "step-Syn" motors with a model of 103G770-1842. I have searched
the web for information on these motors, but the only thing I can find
is that they are commonly used in avionics (airplanes). Does anybody
know where I can find more information on these motors? I would love to
know the oz/in rating on them.
