I think I found your problem. The "MAXNC - PRO S & D" software, which I
believe you have, comes with a a port.exe program. As I mentioned
before, you will have to set the software to the parallel port you use.
Sounds like you use 378H. Run PORT.EXE, and select your port's group.
I had to set mine to 278h to work. It's also easy to confuse the
versions, I have both, and first tried an old copy of the phase drive
version (which I *THOUGHT* was S/D). I saw two of the phases on pins 2
& 3; that's why they both changed! Using the proper version, mine
works.

run TIMESET.EXE to determine your machine's speed.


The Limit switch POSITIVE and Limit switch NEGATIVE (pins 10 & 12)
aren't active yet, so I suspect some other setup is required.
