Alliant Mill & Mitutoyo Millstar retro any good?

Anyone familiar with Alliant mills? I'm planning to look at an Alliant
10x54 mill (approx late 90's vintage) with 3HP VS spindle and a
Mitutoyo Millstar 3 axis servo retrofit.
Is there anything I should beware of with this combo?
