Sinker and Wire EDM Combo Machines?

The wire feed EDMs I am familiar with use deionized water. The Sinker or Ram EDMs use expensive dielectric oils. I think this is one
reason they are separate machines.



[ usertogo] Sinker and Wire EDM Combo Machines? Do they exist? I'm wondering, because I figure a lot of the equipment (power supply,
control, tanks, filters) is the same and why should a small shop duplicate equipment and waste space?
