DeskNC certainly runs just fine on a DOS machine. It also does both lathe
and mill. I gave it up because I was running into resonance problems that
were causing me to loose steps particularly when cutting a curve. It would
probably be worth trying as it is easy to use and seems to do a decent job
if you don't need to push the motors for a high max speed.
