I have the gecko drives running a mill drill with ballscrews at 180 IPM . It
is set up so there is 8000 step to the inch so 180X8000=1440000 steps per
min /60 sec=24000 step per sec and then 1/24000=.000041667 sec per step.
I am using a 486-66 with Maxnc step and direction . I also use it with
DeskNC and deskncrt and several other programs.
I have the max speed as 10, the jump speed as 1000 and the acceleration
factor of 1, xyz steps =8000
The drives would run faster with a faster computer.
