Hi,
For those dodging chips that need a really rugged pointing device there
is a joystick that will take real punishment. The commercial version
gets used in hydralic test stations with both mil-oil and skydrol.
It is simple.....just a rod with a handle on top and either two or four
strain gages which, I assume, drive amps and then V/F converters.
Someone with more time than money could make one. If you have plenty of
money then they are available for about half the price of a good
computer. The military version is used in one of the fighters...maybe
the F15.
For anyone that really wants one I can dig up the supplier. Please
e-mail me direct.
