RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] replace Heidenhain with Gecko?

OK, thanks fellas. It is my understanding that the Z axis controller board
is not functional on this Heidenhain control system. I was assuming that
I'd have to either replace that board at $2000, or replace all 3 drivers
with something else. That search for something else lead me to some folks
who claim to be running Bridgeports with steppers, MACH3 and Gecko 203V's,
but I'm way ready to learn about any other possibilities. Thanks for the
input. Any more?
