     I am sorry for the delay in answering your Question about packing the cutter with the feed rate.
1) The list MoM Bill would like us to discuss machining on the other group which I don't have the name to.
     Would some one list it so we can go in detail there.
2) Calculate the area in the flute and compare it to the chip area your are cutting when side milling the full width of the cutter.  If the chip is over 75 to 80% of the flute area (sometimes even less) you will pack the chip into the flute and it will not come out when it is in the free non cutting part of the rotation.  Note: the chip is not as compact as the solid material.
