Hi,
I have a product called a Thermal Transfer Tank who's frame is made from stainless steel due to a corrosive environment. I am thinking about moving to a Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) product for the frame due to cost of the stainless steel. The frame pieces require milling, drilling and tapping for use in the tank production. The bar stock needs to be 1" x 2" x 12'. Does anyone know of a source for the bar stock or a specific FRP composition that should or should not be used?
Any information would be helpful.
Regards,
Bob
