I have a drilling machine that holds the part, the drill head moves and then stops, clamps the part, then drills.
to clamp the part I conected a small air cylendar to the locking screw. it rotates the screw about 90 degrees and keeps force on the arm.
forced is the air pressure on the piston, and the length of the arm. in my case, I use a small BIMBA actuator and 60 psi.

When I turn the brake off, the Z axis falls. I think that I need to have the brake off only when the axis is moving, but I am not sure how to do that.
