[CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Carbide bits

Hi all

This throwing this out there..

If one looks at the cost of drill bits, HSS versus solid carbide, the price
difference is quite large.
But, masonry drills are fairly cheap.

Has anyone tried/successfully, to precision grind the tip of a masonry bit
to the standard format for drilling steel?
