Hi All
I don't know if others have this problem..
I find that when dismantling the lathe slides, there are recessed capscrews
that fill with muck over time. Generally they are a bit rusted, because the
water does separate from the soluble oil.
Is there a standard type of wax or hard grease that one fills these holes
with? I know from years ago when working on Kern theodalites, that stuff
like this exists, but where to get it, and what is it called?
Regards
Roland
