Thanks for the reply Peter, I was hoping someone would say that,
it looked like it would be pretty hard to do and I wanted to avoid it
if possible. I definitely won't be getting close to 600 IPM!!
I started turning the ballscrews they way I told you about with
the tailstock as a steady rest, seems to be working OK, I'll send you
some pictures.
