Have a look at the PoKey57e from poscope.com. This can be a motion
controller for Mach3 and Mach4 it also has a standalone mode with some
software they call poblocks. Its graphically oriented and seems to do
any simple control function. The device has 55 pins for input and output
and supports both digital and analog signals.
I am using one for a pendant interface to mach4 and am today wiring one
to be a lathe controller. I am developing a lathe from little Machine
Shop to be a build class project for the next TheCNCworkshop.com in June.
