If this is actually the rating then the major problem is that the Camtronics
board just will not support enough voltage to be able to drive those motors.
If I calculated correctly the resistance in the windings would limit you to
1.64 amps max. This would put you at 60 watts power. At the rating you would
be at 360 watts power. So if you figured you are getting 17% of the rated
power you have effectively 80 in/oz motors. Of course my math may be in
error, but I am pretty sure you are not getting any where near the output
those motors are capable of if driven with a 90 V power supply.

Only difference here is the period is much lower so your maximum speed will
be restricted due to acceleration problems in jumping from one speed to the
next.

It would be worth the effort to measure the resistance of the motor coil. If
I an guessing correctly the limiting factor on these motors is the coil
resistance and not the controller. If the resistance is not under 10 ohms
you will never get 4 amps through the coil and it would have to be under 15
ohms or so the even get 2.5 amps draw on those things.
