Instead of spending a $1000+ on ball screws for my Comet Mill. (which i
don't have) How about the supposed zero backlash you can get with Moglice?
Has anyone actually done this on a full size machine?
How easy is it?
Can it ruin the leadscrews if you mess it up?
Will it be adequate for CNC?
You can get the kit for about 100 bucks, lots cheaper than Ballscrews.
I have heard that you can have binding on the full range of travel, but I
rarely use more than 24" of Y.
I just don't know what my wife will say when I tell her I want to put
Moglice on my nuts.
Ha Ha.
