I'll contact Newall & post pricing info.
To me, a fair price for a 5um scale would be about $100-200 per foot
of travel. Most are around $350 for the first ft & $100 per add'l ft.
Dynapar has a "tape" type linear encoder now also, but they send
you to Hell'an Wait's voicemail when you call them for info.
