Yep, I think ol' Ballendo simply goofed, and swapped the letters as a "typo",
not because he doesn't know his X from his Z.
If you want a description of how these coordinates got to be so-named
(different from standard Cartesian coordinates), Art Volz wrote a paragraph
on that, and it is not only educational, but it will bring loud guffaws even
from the sternest ol' machinist! But anyone wishing to read that will have
to ask HIS permission! I wrote a "quote" and maintain it on-disk, but I will
not "publish" it except with his express permission. He is @:
