Hi,
usually has a lead of 2mm. Like all systems there are many different threads
for a given diameter. You can also measure metric threads by module but that
would be lengthy to explain here.
We have a great problem on this side of the puddle understanding the US
sizes of bolts. The actual threads are easy.
