Fonts and the ability to reproduce them keep coming up on the list in
various contexts.
Since type 1 fonts are defined in Postscript and postscript is an
interpeted language it ought not be too difficult to write a sub-set
interpeter encompasses the commands used for describing fonts.
This approach might get one out of having to do a gazillion straight
line segments to describe what is really an arc.
Since there are lots of brigh people on this list, surely there is
someone with the reason (motivatiion) to do this?
