Sure you meant me? I stayed out of the "how to install fonts" part of
this thread.

But there were several posts :Start/Settings/control panel/double-
click on fonts/A dialog window opens showing your existing fonts.
Click the File menu.(drop down) click add install new font.

From MY Win98 box (your mileage may vary)

Ballendo (not ball-end anything, just a coincidence)

P.S. Don't know why you're not seein' this. Works on two win98 boxes
here. I don't have any ideas re: getting the menu back beyond the
GUESS that you might have a REMOVE font menu item which got hung up
midstream. IF so, removing something MAY cause said menu item to
change (back) to install...


But, Ball End OH! I already HAVE a hundred or so on disks, and
there is NO
"install" on the "Files" menu in "FONTS" in the Control Panel! How
can this
be missing? How can I "restore" it???
