I had never given it much thought, before, how little info " professional
folk" have about something as ubiquitous as the AC transformer!

I wrote an article entitled, "Roll Your Own Transformers", with the intent
that "electronic types" who know the basics, and need some odd-ball
transformer they can't find in a Newark catalog, etc., or, are too cheap to
buy, new, can make their own. I have been doing one or two every few years
for decades.

Perhaps this article has some "I shoulda thunk of that!" info in it those of
you with such quandaries might use. Take a look!
