Bill,
Another thing you can try is after everything is engraved and
anodized is to paint everthing except the engraving, then dip it in a
sodium hydroxide solution (Draino crystals work fine). This will
remove the
anodizing in a few minutes from the engraved portions, leaving a
bright natural aluminum finish. Rinse well. The paint can be a clear
varnish for easy cleanup.
