I bought the Baldors from AJS controls in upstate New York. I'll have to
dig for the address and phone. The model was MTE-4070-BLBCE. This is their
generic (meaning available) motor, with tach and encoder.
The best quote I got on this motor was $674.75 about two years ago from a
local vendor here in GA. Baldor has a weird pricing scheme with ridiculous
mark-up. The price you pay seems to depend on the mood of the salesman when
you call. One dealer actually quoted me $2500, but that was before we was
chums.
