more "home shop machinists" don't think in these terms straight away is a
general lack of familiarity with deditated CNC machines. (I wouldn't know a
Beaver NC5 if it spit swarf at me).
If we knew more about which machines are good candidates for home shop use,
have spare parts available, etc., I think more of us would choose to go this
route. I know I'd sure like to hear a little discussion of pros/cons of
particular machines for home shop CNC use.
