Xmas in October

Hi there Group I think today is Christmas day for me at work to the
R&D department was going to thow out an DRO for a lathe it has Both
X & Y scales The best part still working , a little dirty, but
working > Now the question can one cut the glass inside to make it
smaller to fit my Smithy .. Cross feed is ok but the long scale is
48" long any help would be help full . I also received an power
supply tonight 110 in and 12Volt 33 amps out. This thing is big just
now to think of a way to use it ..I will post pics of both this week
end
