For a prototype pcb I can make one in an hour from the time that I finished
the design to the time that I have a drilled and etch board with a few
hundred holes in it. The express pcb board houses generally take three days
including shipping time to send you the end product. Along with a heafty
invoice. Who wants to wait that long when you are making a new product?
I have $1000 worth of various boards made at a local PCB board house that
beats APC prices substantially for volume made boards but they take 21 days.
I still use AP circuit for some second generation prototypes but thats it.
