This I can do by searching an author, or thread title.

BUT, I just caught myself DOING one of my own "pet peeves". Not
seeing it thru "their eyes".

I'm sitting here at a DSL Win98 connection, and for ME these searches
are nearly instantaneous! Not so If I'm on a dial up connection. Or
if I read my mail offline! Got me!

So, as I've said from the beginning, it seems like a good idea, and
I've just remembered WHY the eGroups search could be a pain in the
... for others.

Also, Terry put some good reasons in his reply (snipped, but
remembered)
