Have you gone to the FAQ for this group??? It has definitions for most of
the terms you are asking about and also links to MANY useful sites. You can
even add your own favorite links at the bottom of the links page. The FAQ is
at:

If you get the group by e-mail the address is at the bottom of every
message, if you get it via a browser you don't know about the FAQ.
