CNC Lathe

I had to stop and think about this before stuffing my size 12 boot and
foot into my mouth...

It _could_ be possible if the lathe had a turret with power enabled
tooling, or power enable cross-slide, plus have the headstock be enabled
to lock and index in the same way as an indexing head.

Cam profiles requires that the centerline of the part be offsetted.

Have anyone seen any of the above done ? In my mind that is one spendy
custom CNC Lathe.
