Someone else set this up for me as a package on CD, but
I seem to remember that the trick to getting the RT patch
to apply to a Red Hat 5.2 CD distribution was to replace the
kernel include files with a set from the Linux web site.
Apparently, Red Hat added some innocuous stuff to the
kernel include files, but it changes the line numbers
enough so that the patch won't apply properly.
