Shawn, and list,
Before you commit to the aluminum Maxnc-10, take a look at the Taig
mill (steel construction). Available as cnc (supercam) or CNC ready!
Taig lathes have been doing commercial duty for years.
The mill is a BEAST. Very sturdy construction. Not sure I like ALL
the design choices but... It seems a lot like the small grizzly mill
Ron G has been working on.
Saw it in person recently, and looks to need a motor support re-design
(like the maxNC-10) but other than that, worth a look, IMO.
