I'm not trying to wholesale throw water on people's thoughts and
speculations, but rather bring up issues they may not have thought of.
Virtually everthing ever invented was conceived by an individual, and
many of them were not highly educated professionals. The amateur ranks
have done very well with innovation. But reality checks are valuable,
either to allow the issue to be dropped before wasting time, or taking
the new info into account in working towards a solution.
