Nice post!

I've stayed out of this one... The issue seems not to be position as
much as oscillation.

P.S. We DO hafta be careful here. There are certainly more than HOBBY
machinists on board (and they may need Jon E's warnings), but your
post is still a nice reality check, IMO.
