For those that have been testing Vcarvz during our beta test, and others that may be interested, I have posted some pictures of work cut with the beta program.
The latest version will save the tool paths as a DXF file. As well as the tight integration with Vectorcam, the output file can be used by most any CAM program that will process a 3D dxf file(even Bobcad). Vcarvz creates a 3D toolpath from a combination of closed shapes in a DXf file and multiple lettering objects created from Tru-Type fonts. The resulting toolpath can be used to "carve" the scene out of solid material with an angled or V-tipped cutter.
We welcome comments and additional testers. There is a user's forum at our web site that discusses the latest versions and gives hints and tips to help with use.
