About 3 feet or more long, 12000 steps per inch, I seem to recall,
"several pounds" of force, capable of moving at several inches per
second. I believe the stationary track is about 1-2 sq. inches in
section,
and even the carriage portion is quite rugged.
Now, assuming there is absolutely no backlash in such a device,
I should be able to find a good use for it.... Perhaps cutting long
pc board spars for digital calipers?
Anyone got an idea of a use for it? Wanna trade me a Myford Super7B?
