Limit switches are supposed to be wired to control inputs. If using
EMC they should go to the parallel port. If your motor control has
limit switch inputs and you want to use them they will also be logic
inputs. But if you use the inputs on the controllor and not EMC then
EMC will not know what is going on. Motor controlor inputs should be
used as a secondary fail safe only.

Logic inputs only take a few milliamps to trip usually at 5 volts.
EMC is configuarable for N.O. or N.C. inputs.
