When I said that I use a fiction design company name, that's as far as the
fiction goes. I will tell them it is for a one of project or a test. I have
never asked for quotes of any quantity other than what I intend to buy. The
companies have mainly benefited from my knowledge of their products since I
work close with designers in my work. Many times I have suggested a source
to an engineer and they have gone with it. I actually started using a
company name after a sugestion from an industrial designer.
