Yes Jon,
Good point. In fact that is what I am doing right now. I am building a miniature copy of a milltronics Z axis except I am
using slightly different linear ways. The next logical step would be to bolt this onto a series 1 knuckle.
OR, just flip the turret around and mount a separate CNC Z head on the back of the ram. Just like the shaping heads and other
accessories for the series 1.
It would be a much better effort to develop one of these heads as opposed to a whole machine.
