The software is http://www.laserware.com/index2.html. The price is $6000.00
US for less than 10 copies, so I think this makes it for commercial use
only. For most metal marking a YAG laser is recommended, also expensive. I
have seen used YAG lasers for under $5000.00 without chiller. This includes
the Galvo head and controller. Laser marking/engraving can be expensive.

The CO2 lasers are good systems but many metals reflect the wave length of
light produced from them. You can set up using an X-Y table for them and use
normal CNC software.
