Thanks Bill,

I looked at their site but they don't give much away as to the technical
make-up of their tools. One of the other sites that was mentioned on the
list was much more productive and had some good cutaway drawings. I was
talking to a dentist friend last night who thinks he may have an old turbine
handpiece motor that I can pull to pieces so that will probably be very
instructive - I don't think I could use it directly as it runs at about
400,000 rpm apparently!!

I'd be interested to know what price you paid for the commercial spindle and
which model you got.
